The Books Among Friends store is located at The Shoppes of Hope Valley, 3825 S. Roxboro St., Durham, NC 27713 (off MLK Blvd.). This is where you can pick up your online purchases and/or drop off your donations by appointment. We are not yet open for in-person sales.

Online shopping on our site is very easy. Browse our thousands of books, DVDs, and other items, buy from the comfort of home (or wherever), and pay at the on-line checkout. Your order will be ready for pick-up within 3 days. You do not need an appointment to pick up your items. 

YOU MUST PICK UP YOUR ITEMS. WE CAN NOT SHIP THEM TO YOU. 

Regular pick-up hours at the Books Among Friends store are: 

Tuesdays 10am to 3pm

 Thursdays 10am to 12pm

 Saturdays 10am to 3pm

When you are ready to pick up your items, come to Books Among Friends at 3825 S. Roxboro St., Durham, NC 27713 and ring the doorbell or call us at 919-908-6004 (this number is posted on our door) and we’ll bring your books to you. With our deepest thanks.
